Summer air conditioning installation sensor reminder
- If there is a place where the air conditioner is turned on, please do not install it on the door frame. The hot air outside and the cold air inside form convection, and the welcome device will sense the cold and hot convection, just like a person walking by and making a sound. Please be sure to install it in another place. The sensing window avoids the cold and hot air convection of the door, and it will work normally,
- Using a 7-9V adapter for power supply, the welcome device is not working. Please install 3 batteries for testing. OK, it’s just a problem with the adapter. Just replace the adapter!
Explanation on Sensitivity and Distance of Induction
- Special attention should be paid when using batteries. If the battery level is low, the sensing distance will be shortened, the response will slow down, and false alarms will occur. Sensitivity will also decrease. When the battery level is severely low, the machine will sound continuously on its own. Please replace the battery immediately. The normal sensing distance is stable from 0-3 meters, and can be up to 8 meters.
About false alarm explanation
- Our machine is fan-shaped induction (not linear induction, 110 degrees left and right, 45-50 degrees up and down, even on the side). We can test it against a wall for more than 10 hours and only ship it after zero false alarms. When the battery is severely low, the machine will beep continuously. Please replace the battery immediately. For first-time users of this machine, you can test the sensing window against the wall by yourself. If it beeps, please contact our after-sales service. Otherwise, please adjust the sensing window angle yourself to achieve satisfactory results.
Tips for adjusting the sensing range
- Side installation and placement: you can use a white paper strip to paste part of the two sides of the sensing window, leave the middle, and how much is appropriate. You must walk around to test the sensing range to confirm, and then adjust the range of the paper strip, especially reminding that the middle cannot be pasted, because the sensing head is in the middle, and pasting the middle will affect the sensing sensitivity
