Introduction to TDS Pen:

TDS is in English, total dissolved solids, Chinese translation for the total soluble solid, unit of measure for mg/L (mg/L), it shows that 1 litre of mg content containing soluble solid matter.

TDS concept is an imported product, widely used in the field of water treatment in the United States and Taiwan. TDS value is generally measured with a TDS pen, and its measurement principle is actually to indirectly reflect TDS value by measuring the electrical conductivity of water.In the physical sense, the more dissolved in water, the higher the TDS value of water, the better the conductivity of water, and the higher its conductivity value.

Colloquially, the TDS value represents the content of dissolved impurities in water.The greater the TDS value is, the greater the impurity content in the water is; conversely, the smaller the impurity content is.

Factors influencing TDS value test:

Water temperature: The TDS pen shall not be used to measure high temperature water (e.g. hot water).

Velocity of water: TDS pens cannot be used to measure water with large sloshing

Product Instructions:

Take off the pen case and turn ON the ON switch;

Put the pen into the test solution, the height of the solution shall not exceed 2cm;

Stir the pen in the solution. When the reading is stable (2-6 seconds), the TDS value will appear on the screen. Press HOLD to lock the value.

After use, dry the water on the tip of the pen, clean it with pure water, and then cover it back.

Precautions: Avoid soaking the TDS pen in water, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperature, and collision.

Scope of use:

Test whether the water quality of tap water, pure water and mineral water conforms to the drinking water standard formulated by the state: tap water is less than 300PPM, pure water is less than 50PPM (national standard), and mineral water is between 100-200ppm.

Application Knowledge:

1. After being stored for a long time, the TDS value of pure water and mineral water increased too much than that at the beginning, and the total number of co-viruses and bacterial colonies also increased correspondingly. At this time, undrinkable water is not allowed, which will affect health;

5. How much washing powder should be put in the washing machine?
